Join us for Staunton Country Parks first ever... guided 'Tea' Treasure Hunt!
These walks will be short (approximately 1 mile) along an easy–access path circumnavigating Staunton Lake taking in the stunning views and vistas of the Parkland. Walkers can choose from two themed walks focused on the “Flora and Fauna” or the “History and Heritage” of the Park. The walks will be taking place during some of the vegetation clearance and development work this year so you will also see ‘behind the scenes’ during the restoration project.
The Junior Farm Ranger group is aimed at children 8-12 years old. During the sessions you will be working alongside the education team to undertake practical tasks such as cleaning enclosures, grooming animals and performing health checks.
Little Hedgehogs is an outdoor nature themed activity suitable for children aged 2 and a half years and older with their parent/carer during school term time.
