This workshop is an introduction to key habits for good mental health and wellbeing. Just as with physical health, good mental health depends on achieving a good balance of these habits to reduce stress, manage our feelings and improve decision making. 

  • Describe different meanings attached to happiness, good mental health and mental illness
  • Discuss some theories from psychology that are changing our understanding of mental health and wellbeing
  • Increase self awareness through reflective exercises
  • Identify a plan of action to improve your mental health using the Seven Cs Framework

Just trying to keep up with the demands of busy modern lives can lead to a build up of stress and anxiety, and at times this can feel overwhelming.

The Seven Habits of Mentally Healthy People is not therapy and you don’t need any previous experience, equipment or special clothes.

In this workshop you’ll be able to assess your own strengths and challenges using the Seven Cs Framework. You’ll leave with your own personalised plan to improve your emotional health and mental wellbeing.

It is advisable to bring a bottle of drinking water with you.
