Thursday 4th April 2019

Copies of the novels will be available in the foyer courtesy of local independent book sellers P&G Wells.

Hanna Jameson:
Hanna Jameson's fourth novel, part murder mystery and part post-apocalyptic thriller - THE LAST - is out early 2019, with Viking UK and Simon & Schuster - Atria Books US. The Last is the story of an American academic searching for the truth about a girl who has been murdered in his Swiss hotel in the aftermath of a nuclear war that has destroyed most of the Western world
Claire Fuller:
Claire returns with her third novel, ‘Bitter Orange’ published by Fig Tree/ Penguin in August this year.
"Fuller is an accomplished and serious writer who has the ability to implant interesting psychological dimensions into plotty, pacy narratives.” The Observer  “It is rare for me to put down a novel and then immediately consider rereading it to see what cleverness I might have missed. This time, though, I am tempted.” The Sunday Times.
Claire’s first novel, 'Our Endless Numbered Days’ won the 2015 Desmond Elliot Prize for debut fiction.  Her second novel, “Swimming Lessons’ was published in 2017 and was shortlisted for the Encore Prize for second novels.  Her new novel, ‘Bitter Orange' has been described as ‘a twisty, thorny, darkly atmospheric page turner about loneliness and belonging’ by author, Gabriel Tallent.
Cara Hunter:
More than half a million copies of Cara’s DI Fawley books have been sold since they launched only ten months ago. 'Close to Home' was a Sunday Times bestseller, a No1 Kindle bestseller, a Richard & Judy book club pick and has over 1,200 reviews on Amazon, to date. 'In the Dark' was published in August, to rave reviews.  Coming soon book three 'No Way Out', will be published in February 2019.
