This programme is a blended learning approach, which will enable you to have a moving and handling champion who can deliver training in your workplace, giving you a sustainable model of best practice.

This course will enable you to:

  • Develop a sustainable model of best practice for moving and positioning in your workplace
  • Identify how risk assessment is linked to staff and service user safety
  • Understand the relevance of how underpinning knowledge supports moving and positioning best practice
  • Reduce falls by applying principles of assessing and managing falls in your organisation
