This two day course will provide managers with the knowledge needed to manage their service safely and encourage good practice in a person-centred way in all areas linked to safeguarding.

This course will enable you to:

  • Identify your roles and responsibilities in preventing abuse and neglect
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the legislation, regulation and policies that underpin the protection of adults at risk of abuse
  • Identify your role in a Section 42 Enquiry and those of other agencies
  • Undertake a provider-led enquiry
