This supported learning programme will give you the knowledge, skills and resources needed to be a safeguarding champion and enable you to deliver basic awareness sessions to your staff.
This course will enable you to:
- Identify the key legislation, national and local policies and guidance in relation to safeguarding and the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005
- Describe the key safeguarding concepts and related principles of good practice
- Plan how you can use the resources provided to deliver key messages within their course delivery
- Identify and influence the future safeguarding and MCA training strategy and practice within their service
