Most of our children who need a caring home have had difficult early life experiences, such as abuse or neglect. They need a safe and loving home where they can flourish and learn to trust again.
We recognise that foster carers look after the most vulnerable children, which is why we will fully prepare you and support you in what will be a challenging yet amazingly rewarding role.
Hampshire has an Outstanding OFSTED rating, reflecting all the work that takes place to help children reach their potential.
We need more foster carers to provide homes for Hampshire children; from babies through to teenagers, asylum seekers, sibling groups and children with additional needs or disabilities.
Could you be the one to help them reach their full potential?
Providing foster care has been very rewarding and a pleasure to be a part of the children’s life journey and enrich their lives.
Hampshire County Council is looking for people who live in the county or surrounding areas. We are particularly looking for homes for older children, teenagers, siblings and children with disabilities or special needs.
