Local support groups

There are many support groups across Hampshire, usually organised by a foster carer with occasional guest speakers. Contact your family placement social worker to find out where your local support group is.

Hampshire Fostering Network

All Hampshire foster carers can become members of Hampshire Fostering Network (HFN). They offer additional support, guidance and advice as well as being ‘your voice’ with Hampshire Children’s Services.

FosterTalk

FosterTalk is an independent support services provider, specialising in FISS (Fostering Independent Support Service). Hampshire have a contract with FosterTalk to support carers who are facing allegations or concerns.

FosterLine is a Government run helpline for any questions relating to fostering.
