Oakridge House is a nursing and residential home located half a mile North of Basingstoke town centre, providing professional and compassionate care to the frail and those with a diagnosed dementia.
Easily accessible with a bus route passing the home and ample parking within the grounds, all rooms are single occupancy.
We aim to treat all our residents as we would wish to be treated ourselves and believe that while dementia or frailty might mean they can no longer live alone, it should not mean any loss of privacy, dignity or respect. Social interaction is an important part of daily living and activity co-ordinators provide individual and group activities within the home, as well as maintaining links with the local community.
We provide training for all our staff to enable dedicated personal care which is tailored to individual need. We believe in an ‘open-house’ philosophy encouraging relatives to visit whenever they are able with no time restrictions on visiting.
