Positive partnerships

Several members of Hampshire’s Personalisation Expert Panel developed a Positive Partnership Strategy in 2014. This was a “shared strategy for support and care for people with physical, neurological and/or sensory impairments that provides equal opportunity, choice and independence”. At the time, the strategy was never formally shared wider or made public.

Following feedback, Adults’ Health and Care has recently worked with PEP members to update the document, taking into account the things that have changed in the subsequent years.

The document has now been co-produced and refreshed. Officers from the Department have worked closely with PEP via working group. Subgroups have allowed the work to be equally shared. To ensure wider engagement, the next steps will include putting the document out to consultation with Hampshire residents to gather more views.
