Funds have been allocated to support the most vulnerable households on the Isle of Wight this winter with their utility costs. Low income households with children, single householders on fixed incomes and care leavers will be able to access direct financial support to pay gas, water and/or electricity bills.
This will be available from the local Citizen's Advice service alongside broader support and advice.
What is on offer
Direct financial support to pay gas, water and/or electricity bills, potentially including arrears. The value of any individual funding award will be dependent upon individual circumstances.
Who is eligible
Any household, with or without children for whom fuel bills account for a significant proportion of income. Eligibility will depend upon individual circumstances which will be assessed by Citizen’s Advice.
Duration of availability
From 29 November 2021 to 31 March 2022.
