Annual review of the Education, Health and Care Plan
The education setting must review your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) every year. If your child is under five years old, reviews must be every six months. The purpose of the review is to:
- bring together the views of everyone who helps your child
- review how well the outcomes in the EHCP are being achieved
- consider whether an EHCP is still needed
- set new outcomes for the next year
