Equipment

Where appropriate and having liaised with therapists the Service will fund and provide equipment to support a child’s needs in the classroom. This could be:

• specialist seating
• tables and benches
• toileting equipment
• mobile hoists
• IT hardware such as laptops / PCs
• Assistive Technology software and access peripherals, if the disability hinders or prevents written recording of work using conventional methods
• Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) software
