RSE 2 - Talking About Relationships and Sex with Young People & Get it On Condom Training

This course will enable participants to feel more confident and able, when working and communicating with young people; exploring positive relationships, sexual health and well-being. This is a one day face-to-face course. 

Course pre-requisites

  • Must have previously undertaken RSE 1 – Talking about Relationships and Sex with Young People (formally SRE 1) or similar training unless agreed otherwise via [email protected]
  • We recommend delegates have previously completed the Virtual College eLearning module Safeguarding Children from Abuse by Sexual Exploitation  should bring their certificate of completion to this training.

Learning outcomes

Participants will learn:

  • About the Law and Confidentiality relating to young people
  • About Sexually Transmitted Infections, testing and treatment (a brief introduction)
  • The role diversity plays a role in the lives of young people
  • How to distribute condoms and provide pregnancy testing appropriately
  • How to work within the Hampshire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership and Solent NHS condom and pregnancy testing, distribution guidelines
