Support for Adult Services staff

The Workforce Development team provides core skills courses and vocational programmes. We have experience and knowledge of social care that we use to develop and deliver a range of learning interventions. We respond to Adult Services workforce development needs and requests by:

• working with operational teams to identify skills gaps and developing solutions
• providing in-house training

External providers are commissioned where specialist skills are needed to deliver: medication, dementia, safeguarding training and vocational qualifications.

We offer bespoke learning and development opportunities and coaching to small teams or whole units where there is an identified need which is not met through core skills courses and vocational programmes.
