Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre
You may have wondered about why Hampshire Outdoor Centres operate in Wales. Well, we know better than anyone the numerous benefits of outdoor learning within Hampshire's landscape. But when it comes to Wales, there's something a little bit special.
From majestic mountains to waterfalls, caves and more, the sprawling Welsh landscape is filled with opportunities to experience the outdoors in a way like no other. Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre provides the chance for students to undertake new challenges in a completely different environment.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), visitors can enjoy all the landscape has to offer. Walk through waterfalls, conquer Pen y Fan and explore caves and tunnels under the supervision of our expert instructors.

Catering
Our centres offer healthy and nutritious catering packages that can accommodate all dietary requirements.
We take pride in using suppliers who source locally produced food and daily hand-cooked meals that ensure all meals are fresh and tasty.
Accommodation

The Farmhouse
Our traditional Welsh farmhouse accommodation has several bunkhouse rooms, a comfy lounge area and a dining space. Each accommodation block also has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, along with a beautiful decking/patio space and gardens – great for outdoor dining!
The farmhouse has capacity for 49 people.
Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, drying room, large classrooms, communal lounge and wood burning stoves.
Camping
There is also outdoor camping space for up to 20 people.

Inside-Out experience
Enjoy the cosy comfort of our traditional Welsh farmhouse and camp under the star-studded sky.
Whilst half your group will be in bunk rooms in the farmhouse, the other half will stay in pre-pitched tents that sleep up to five.
Accommodation can be swapped over part way through the week, so each child gets the opportunity to camp!
