Audiobooks in the form of CDs, MP3 CDs and Playaways are available on the following membership plans:

eBooks
You can download eBooks and audiobooks onto your ereader, desktop, laptop or mobile device using Overdrive
- Up to 5 items can be borrowed at a time
- Up to 14 day lending period depending on item
- No charge for loans

DVDs
You can borrow films, documentaries, television programmes and foreign films for adults and children from most Hampshire libraries
It is against the law to copy or broadcast items you borrow, to lend them to another person or to charge for showing them.
- DVDs can be borrowed for up to 7 days
- You can borrow up to 7 DVDs at a time
- There is a £1 or £2 charge for loans and renewals
- One full weeks fee will be charged for overdue items per week
Annual film and music membership schemes
CD and DVD collections will remain available in the libraries that hold them beyond 2017 but as of April 2016 the annual membership schemes are no longer available. Existing film and music memberships will be honoured until their expiry date.
The public consultation in 2015/16 supported a phased withdrawal of poorly used library collections in outdated formats including CDs, DVDs and games. We will stop purchasing CDs and DVD from April 2017.
