Explore the fascinating history along the paths of the Lepe Loop. Discover the important role Lepe House played in WWII; where the brickworks used to be and the old names for the fields and copses you will cross. This walk travels along a shingle and pebble beach, through woodland and open fields. The route is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or prams due to the narrow passing gates. The paths can get extremely wet and wellingtons are advised if it's been raining.
This walk is part of the New Forest Walking and Cycling Festival 2021, which runs from 16 October to 7 November. The festival is sponsored by Hoburne Bashley.
This is a fairly flat 5 mile walk, with approximately one mile of shingle.
