Camping
Back to basics camping at Coney Acres
Our campsite is nestled at the bottom Butser Hill. This peaceful patch is the perfect place to pitch your tent while walking the South Downs Way, or could make a stunning location for an event.
Within Queen Elizabeth Country Park itself, there’s an assault course, a children’s play area and miles of woody walks and mountain bike trails, making it an amazing spot for an adventure holiday. The onsite café and seasonal kiosks also offer tasty treats and refreshments for all.
If you're a nature lover then you can explore the slopes of Butser Hill to discover an interesting array of butterflies and moths including the Duke of Burgundy, chalk hill blue and silver-spotted skipper. During the summer months you can listen to the skylarks sing as they display or catch a glimpse of the resident red kites.
As Coney Acres is part of the South Downs Dark Skies Reserve you’ll have the chance to enjoy immense views of the night sky from the comfort of your tent.
Open from 29 March to 3 November 2024
