The wonderful ladies of Fitstate, Zoe and Emma, are passionate about helping women to juggle busy lives whilst maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle through making the right food choices to managing time to fit in exercise and meditation.

Reap the health benefits of a cold-water plunge followed by a gentle stretching session and mindful forest walk, picking up some handy nutrition tips when our chef introduces your lunch and return home after the mini retreat feeling zen from the yoga and meditation session.

How the day will run:

  • 09.00 - Guided cold water plunge, with Shivva, for those who would like to try this activity out
  • 09.45 - Welcome to the day
  • 10.00 - FITSTATE Stretch, Mobilise and Move
  • 10.30 - Morning break with tea and coffee plus a snack
  • 10.45 - 5km mindful forest trail walk with FITSTATE and QECP
  • 12.15 - Wholesome and nutritious lunch provided by Beechwood Kitchen @ QECP
  • 13.15 - Guest talk tbc
  • 13.45 - Guest talk tbc
  • 14.15 - FITSTATE Yoga and meditation
  • 14.45 - Sound bath therapy with Kala
  • 15.30 - Finish

What you need to know:

  • Arrive at the main visitor reception for 9.45am unless you are taking part in the guided cold-water plunge which starts at 9.00am, details on where to meet will be given out to those taking part.
  • Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for exercise and the trail walk.
  • Please bring an exercise mat (if you do not have a mat please let us know in advance).
  • All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire before they take part, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
  • Parking charges apply.
  • Booking is essential.
  • This activity is non-refundable/ non-transferable.
