Silver Clay Flora & Fauna Workshop

Join Silver Magpie on this beginner friendly workshop and make your own necklace or earrings!

21 July 2024 10am to 1:30pm

Taking inspiration from the forest, discover how to make 'magical' woodland themed silver clay pendants, or small drop earrings if preferred, using pre-made texture mats of delicate plants, leaves, mushrooms & flowers. You can also choose to add little creatures like hares, butterflies, dragonflies and bees in your designs should you wish.

Silver clay is made from 100% recycled silver which, when fired, becomes 99.9% pure fine silver. You will discover this amazing process in a 3.5 hour beginners workshop where you will be taught the basics of metal clay jewellery from texturing, shaping, sanding, firing, burnishing and polishing.

A 7g pack of Art Clay Silver is included in the course fee and is enough to make at least 1 pendant or a small pair of drop earrings if preferred. Chains are available to purchase if required for £5 and a card machine will be available for any payments on the day.

Please bring a bottle of water and any snacks with you. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, free of charge. Please also wear filled-in shoes and tie any long hair back for the workshop.

Car parking for the duration of the workshop will also be included in your ticket price.

This workshop is not suitable for children. However, older teens (14-16yrs) are welcome to participate along with a supervising adult (you will need to book 2 places).
