Multiply is a new government-funded programme to help adults improve their numeracy skills. The Multiply maths team at Hampshire County Council is hosting a free family fun day at the park in May to start engaging with the public. Adults will be given the opportunity at the end of the event to sign up for free numeracy courses run by Multiply.
The event on 30th May will be based in the Chapel (which will be closed to the public all day). There will be a carousel of activities for families to take part in. The event is suitable for families with children aged 5+.
Multiply is funding parking – we’ll provide a parking code on the day for attendees to use in the payment machines.
Multiply is also funding refreshments (hot/cold drinks and biscuits) throughout the day and a picnic lunch (sandwiches, crisps, cake & fruit). Vegetarian options will be available, but people with other dietary requirements will need to contact us in advance or bring their own.
