Netley Abbey village lies in the parish of Hound, to the south-east of Southampton.  It developed as a direct result of the building of the Royal Victoria Hospital during the Victorian era. 

Join Heritage Officer Ursula Pearce for this armchair tour, exploring the heritage of the village and its historic links to the hospital.  With video, Google Street View, images and live commentary, you’ll be walking in the footsteps of the many hospital patients, workers and visitors to Netley from across the years. 

The tour will last approximately 1.5 hrs and includes opportunities to ask questions.
