As part of Love Parks Week and the Festival of Archaeology, Staunton Country Park is offering an opportunity to find out about the key archaeological features of our Parkland and to hear more about the exciting voluntary project to investigate these over the next couple of years.
Archaeologist Simon, will be delivering a walk and talk lasting an hour, which will give you the opportunity to explore the parkland, taking in key historical buildings, follies, archaeological sites on your way.
Meeting at 11am at the Coach House. You will be met by staff who will accompany you down to our starting point. You will need sturdy walking boots and are advised that you may wish to wear long trousers, due to the potential presence of ticks in the park.
Please note this Walk & Talk is aimed at adults, young people may attend alongside a parent or guardian, but it may not engage younger children.
Under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will remain responsible for them during the walk.
