If you are, you’ll find some exciting and new improvements happening to this wonderful park overlooking the Solent, on the edge of the New Forest National Park.
If you’re visiting us with children, come and try out our re-vamped children’s play area which we’ve installed as part of the £2.7 million improvements to the park.
Kids will love the challenge of the Snake Balance Beam and the new woodland glider. With new swings (including an “accessible” swing), a forest hideaway with a slide and much more – the little ones will have a great time!
Another exciting development coming soon is the sensory garden, which will be ready for visitors at the beginning of July and has been created by the Friends of Lepe volunteer group.
If you haven’t been to Lepe for a while, you’ll notice that construction has started of a new Visitor Centre and cafe. The design will make the new building flood proof as it will be built on stilts. When completed in Summer 2018, the new café which will have double the seating space of the current café, along with a log burner for those winter months.
You’ll be able to sit, have a drink or something to eat and take in the magnificent Solent views through the glass front– with so much to see whether it be the beach, wildlife, windsurfers, or just sitting and relaxing Lepe has got to be one of the top places to visit on your list this summer!
