Work has started on our new Heritage and Bluebell trail, revealing the Park’s hidden history and spring flowers. A new path is being laid, making it easier to follow the route on foot, and easier for people with mobility scooters or prams. We’re also clearing the paths from the children’s play area up to Bluebell Wood.

During April, we will be removing some of the play equipment in the ‘agility play area’, which is at the end of its natural life, making it a bigger space, laying new turf and turning this into a picnic area, ready for the summer – and with great views!

In June, we start work on adding a wide range of pre-school-age play equipment in our children’s play area – including four parent and baby swings – letting mum or dad swing at the same time as baby!
