Jermyn’s House

Jermyn's House is a beautiful Victorian manor house dating back to the 17th century. It is set in the beautiful 180 acre world renowned Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.

Small receptions can be in the house. For larger receptions a marquee can be put on the lawn next to the house.

The Queen's Room – 41 guests

The Queen's Room is on the ground floor of Jermyn's House making it accessible for everyone. It can be the room for your ceremony or for your wedding breakfast, if your ceremony is in the Magnolia Room.

Magnolia Room – 36 guests

The Magnolia Room is on the first floor of Jermyn's House. This room is dual aspect, allowing a lot of natural light to fill the room. A beam across the ceiling extends the traditional country house character. This can be decorated with floral garlands.


Our wedding team will be able to recommend marquee suppliers. They provide marquees of all shapes and sizes from traditional styles to modern. We have many photographs of past weddings held at the Gardens which may you choose for your special day.

History of Jermyn's House and the Gardens

The Pavilion

The Pavilion has won the SCALA award for the best local authority designed building in the UK. It is dedicated to HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. The Pavilion is built around an open courtyard with beautiful views over the Gardens.

The Pavillion at Hiller Gardens

Sir Richard Storey Ceremony Room – 85 guests

The ceremony room is in the Visitor Pavilion next to the Restaurant and opens out onto the 180 acre Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. The Restaurant is a superb venue for elegant receptions.
