The venues at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens offer elegant spaces for special occasions.
Our venues are available to hire Monday to Friday and at weekends subject to availability. Private hire is not available on bank holidays.
Our onsite catering team can provide menus for all occasions. Visit our food and drinks page for more information on the catering services we provide.
If joining us for a daytime function, we are pleased to provide free access to our world-renowned gardens for your guests. Parking will usually be in the main visitor car park. A buggy service is available by prior arrangement with the Visitor Services Team.

Jermyn’s House
Jermyn’s House was originally the home of the Hillier family, but it is now possible to hire the ground floor rooms for exclusive use.
The rooms available are the Sir Harold Hillier Room, Queens' Room, Panel Room and Garden Restaurant.
The Courtyard Café, in the visitor pavilion, is also available for evening hire and can seat up to 80 people.
Queens’ Room
This dual aspect room overlooks Sir Harold Hillier’s private garden to the side and Magnolia Avenue to the front.
The room is available for private hire with capacity for 24-30 people, subject to requirements.
This is an ideal room for celebrations. Enjoy a family get together over afternoon tea or for a special birthday or hold your anniversary celebration with more formal dining.
The Queens’ Room can be hired Monday – Sunday for day or evening functions subject to availability.
Sir Harold Hillier Room
This smaller room is suitable for 12-16 guests dining, subject to requirements.
The hire of this room can be combined with the Panel and Queen's Rooms for buffet style celebrations for a larger number.
The Sir Harold Hillier Room can be hired Monday – Sunday for daytime functions only.

Garden Restaurant
This is a superb area for larger family celebrations or for corporate events.
The adjacent courtyard offers an additional outside area for guests to mingle or drinks to be enjoyed.
The Garden Restaurant can accommodate up to 60 guests (minimum 40) for a formal evening dinner.
The hire of the Garden Restaurant can be combined with the Queen’s Room, Panel Room and Sir Harold Hillier Room to allow guests additional space to relax and enjoy the evening.
The Garden Restaurant is available for hire in the evening only from 6:30pm.
Courtyard Café
The Courtyard Café is situated at the Visitor Pavilion, designed by Hampshire County Council architects in 2003. There is ample parking close to the Pavilion with accessible entry.
The restaurant is available for evening hire and can seat up to 80 people and can also be suitable for corporate events. The Courtyard Café offers stunning views across the Valley of Fire feature and a horizon of Hampshire countryside.
