Look out for the arrival of the 250,000 purple crocus, planted in support of Rotary International’s ‘End Polio Now’ Campaign. Romsey Test Rotary Club will be in the Gardens during this week to highlight the campaign.
Crocus planted in the Gardens that are set to bloom in February include Crocus tommasinianus ‘Whitewell Purple’ by the pond vista, and on the approach to the visitor pavilion Crocus vernus ‘Jeanne d’Arc’ (pure white) and Crocus vernus ‘Flower Record’ (Purple). We very much hope you will come along and view this beautiful spectacle.
