The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) maintains graves, cemeteries, and memorials for over 1.7 million service personnel in 23,000 locations across 153 countries. It is likely the largest horticultural organisation globally.
This talk will share stories, including that of a local VC hero, and discuss the challenges the CWGC faces in keeping memories alive today.

The CWGC does not charge for talks. The Gardens will make a donation on behalf of all attendees.
