From the rebellious girls of Jane Austen’s teenage writings to more famous heroines such as Elizabeth Bennet, this lecture with Annalie Talent focuses on Austen’s badly behaved women. Join us for this surprising - and entertaining - look at the life and work of a woman who once declared ‘If I am a wild beast, I cannot help it.’
