The Long Silence - the A6 murder

Wednesday 5 February, 11am

In 1962, James Hanratty was hanged for the murder of Michael Gregsten in what would infamously become known as the A6 murder. Using personal papers discovered after her death in 2016, the story can now be told from the perspective of the 22-year-old woman who survived the attack – Valerie Storie. This is the subject of Paul’s second book, The Long Silence.

Coffee at 11am, followed by lecture with retired detective Paul Stickler and a two-course lunch served in Jermyn’s House set in the heart of the Gardens.
