Spotted Leopard

Using the technique of Crewelwork, you will be taught by Chrissie Juno Mann, a tutor at the Royal School of Needlework, to create a Spotted Mountain Leopard.

This design is inspired by the textiles that came over from India in the 1700’s. Leopard were housed in the Tower of London in the 13th century and feature extensively as a motif in Jacobean crewelwork textiles designs.  This ‘Spotted Mountain Leopard’ is more at home in his natural surroundings and is resting at the foot of the mountains that are covered in alpines.

This piece is full of fun and is perfect for a confident beginner and intermediate stitcher.
