Mindfulness Stress Reduction Course
Fridays 12 October - 7 December, 10am - 12.30pm
And Friday 9 November, 10am - 4pm
Do you react to stressful situations in familiar, but unhelpful, ways?
Karen Prouton welcomes you to the peaceful Gardens, and will teach you Mindfulness-based stress reduction, hosted in the tranquil setting of Jermyn's House.
You will receive guidance in becoming intentionally and non-judgmentally aware of the present moment, helping you to notice the fullness of your thoughts, feelings and sensations and relate to them in a different way. This can reduce feelings of stress through a sense of greater choice and control.
This 9-week course involves meditations, gentle stretches and walking exercises. A CD is provided for daily home practice.
Course costs include access to the Gardens for the day, to continue your mindful experience in the glorious surroundings!
Please bring a mat, and if desired a cushion. (Chairs are available) We ask you to complete a self assessment form beforehand to ensure the course is suitable for you.
Price: 185p/p includes entry to the Gardens, refreshments and lunch on Friday 9 November
