Saturday 10 November, 10am - 4pm - SOLD OUT
Explore the colours and textures of fruits, seed heads and late flowers in watercolour with botanical artist Christina Hart-Davies.
In this friendly and informal workshop, we shall look at ways of drawing and painting some of the plants and flowers in the Gardens at this time of year. Berries, fruits, autumn leaves, seedheads and late flowers could all provide a chance to explore colours, textures and forms. You might choose to make a sheet of comparative studies, or a portrait of a particular plant, or you might tackle a particular challenge such as highlights, surface bloom or building up strong colour. Whatever you choose to do, Christina will guide and encourage you with plenty of individual attention, and demonstrations as necessary.
Some experience recommended.
A materials list will be supplied outlining what you need to bring along.
