Calshot's Multi-Activity Instructor Training course

Our Multi-Activity Instructor Training course at Calshot offers 10 weeks of intensive tuition to gain nine nationally recognised qualifications, allowing you to develop the skills you need to start your career as an Activity Instructor. We offer high quality training in a fun and friendly environment on the Solent coast with stunning sea views.

As well as gaining qualifications and experience, we’ll give you the chance to interview for a job at one of our centres upon completion of the course.

2019 course

Our 2019 course is currently open for booking. It will run Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm, from 28 January 2019 to 5 April 2019.

We’ll loan you all the specialist equipment you need. Plus, you’ll have free use of our facilities and equipment once we’ve assessed your basic competence. This way you can brush up on your skills at weekends or evenings for no extra cost.

Better still, as soon as the course is confirmed, you’ll have free access to all the courses we run at Calshot. Meaning you can get a head start and gain lots of experience before you join us in January.

Prices

10 week instructor training: £2995.00*
Food and accommodation †: £495.00

*Excludes registration and other fees for governing bodies. These will be around £175 in total.

† Accommodation is available at an additional cost for the duration of the course. This includes accommodation seven days a week with full board Monday to Friday.

What else will I receive?

You’ll also receive additional training and the opportunity for in-house assessments in the following activities: archery, climbing, high ropes, initiative course and team building tasks, low ropes, orienteering, skiing, snowboarding and track cycling.

Our historic hangar houses a state-of-the-art climbing complex, the only indoor velodrome on the south coast and a dry ski slope.
