Family Climb for: 1 adult member and 2 children members, and equipment hire. Available Wednesday and Thursday entry before 5pm and all day Saturday.
Concessions for: Wessex Mountaineering Club members, Romsey Climbers, Southampton Climbing Club, Students with NUS card and members of the Armed Forces with a valid forces ID card.
# Guest and Junior members must be supervised a full adult member.

- Adult membership options
We have 3 membership options for Adults:
Option 1: Standard Membership – allows the member to use all of the walls. To join you have to complete a membership assessment by showing you can put your harness on, tie into the rope and belay another climber on the wall. Membership assessments are available at any time during normal wall opening hours. Dependent on the successful outcome of this and your experience membership is split into two categories
- Full membership - you can sign in up to 2 guests
- Individual membership - you can climb with other members but not sign in guests, except during family climbing sessions. Standard members pay an annual membership fee and an entrance fee on every visit.
Option 2: Direct Debit Membership – As for standard membership this allows the member to use all of the walls and a membership assessment is required as above. Direct debit members pay a monthly payment by direct debit and get unlimited climbing during normal opening hours. Their annual membership renewal fee is also included in the cost. To apply you will need to be complete the standard application form above if you are not already a member.
Option 3: Bouldering Only Membership – allows for use of the bouldering, traverse and laser climb walls only. Experienced boulderers can become a boulder only member on completion of a membership application form and short induction to the wall. Boulder only members pay an annual membership fee and an entrance fee on every visit.
- Under 18 membership options
We have 2 membership options for under 18’s:
Option 1: Youth Membership – allows unsupervised climbing on all the walls for 16 and 17 year olds who are competent climbers. You will need to pass our youth membership assessment by showing you can put your harness on, tie into the rope and belay another climber on the wall. These membership assessments should be pre booked with the wall. To apply you will need to complete a youth membership application form which will need the signature of you parent or legal guardian and a standard membership application form as well. Youth members pay an one off membership fee and an entrance fee on every visit.
Option 2: Junior membership – allows any under 18 to come climbing as a guest of a nominated full member supervising them without the need to complete a guest form on each visit. The parent or guardian can nominate up to 4 full climbing wall members to be responsible for supervising them. Junior members pay an one off membership fee and an entrance fee on every visit
- Visitors and guests
We have 2 options for anyone who is not a member and is either; a novice climber, too young to become an unsupervised member or does not wish to become a member of the wall.
Option 1: Visitors – Competent climbers who can pass our membership assessment i.e. tie into the rope and belay another climber on the wall, can sign in as a visitor by completing the membership registration form and undertaking the assessment. You will pay the visitor entrance fee. Please note you will need to complete the same procedure on every visit if you enter as a visitor rather than becoming a member.
Option 2: Guests – Any standard or direct debit member who has been awarded a full membership, on completion of their membership assessment, can sign in up to 2 guests of any age on each visit. Individual members can sign in guests, who are under 18, during the family climbing sessions.
Please note if you sign in under 18s regularly the junior membership will save you completing a guest registration form on each visit.
