The Henry Beaufort School visit each year to complete one of their GCSE PE modules. During 2016 they completed a canoeing GCSE module, in 2017 they chose to take on the GCSE climbing module.
The course is designed in line with examination board requirements and is delivered over three days, providing training and assessment for the chosen module.
Over the course students developed their climbing skills and techniques, along with the skills and experience required to safely support and coach others. Through this experience they developed confidence in themselves and trust in peers.
This year all students demonstrated excellent climbing proficiency, knowledge, and high standards of safety by the end of the course. All students achieved excellent grades towards their final mark.
