Brockenhurst village walk

Start: Brockenhurst Railway Station
Distance from Tile Barn: 0.7 miles (3 minute drive)
Brockenhurst is the largest village in the New Forest. This gentle circular walk will guide you around the village, so you can explore the area’s range of quaint tea shops, pubs, and restaurants. You might even see some of the ponies and donkeys that freely roam the area.
Lymington town trail
Length: 2 miles
Type: Circular
Start: Lymington Town railway station
Distance from Tile Barn: 4.4 miles (10 minute drive)
Follow this trail to enjoy a taste of local history. Lymington is home to a local weekly market which started in 13th century, as well as the oldest open sea baths in the UK, opened in 19th century. This walk will take you on a trip from St Barbe Museum, yachts on the harbour, and the seaside. It’s not to be missed.

Explore the parish of Lyndhurst, from the village centre to the iconic Bolton’s Bench. This walk is a great opportunity to enjoy the stunning views and wildlife of the New Forest. There’s also plenty of opportunity to stop at a pub or café along the way if you fancy a break.

Follow this tale of smugglers, sea monsters, and salt to on a circular walk around Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve. The reserve is settled between the mouth of the Lymington River and the village of Keyhaven and is teeming with wildlife year-round. From winter wading birds like lapwings and curlews, to spring arrivals from the south, there’s so much to spot. So, grab your children and keep your eyes peeled for birds and sea monsters alike!
