Do I need to book in advance?
We strongly advise booking in advance, especially for busy times such as weekends and school holidays. However, you’re welcome to turn up and, if there’s space, we’ll book you onto one of our Action Adventures.
Action Adventure Days and Action Adventure Parties will need to be booked in advance.
How old do you need to be for each of the activities?
Age and height restrictions apply - these vary depending on which activity you choose. Details on any restrictions will be clearly shown on each of our activities.
Is there onsite parking?
Yes, there is parking available outside the entrance to The Hangar. An Automated Number Plate Recognition system is in operation in the car park. Simply drive in, park up and pay at one of the pay machines before leaving. Pay machines accept notes, coins or card payments. For charges see please see our parking information.
What clothing and footwear do I need?
We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and trainers for all activities. When you book we will send you any specific clothing requirements.
Will I be able to take a camera with me on the activities?
Yes. Using cameras and phones is fine, so long as they’re securely attached to a lanyard. We’d love to see your photos too – tag us with @calshotacts
Are the activities supervised?
Our team of experienced, friendly instructors will oversee all activities*.Please note:
Ringos Action Adventure Experiences – adult supervision required.
*Except Laser Climb Action Adventure Experiences, these do not have an instructor. Those under 14 will require adult supervision.
Ringo and Laser Climb Action Adventure Parties do not require adult supervision as our instructors will lead these sessions.
What are your opening hours?
The Hangar@Calshot has a scheduled list of activities. We run a programme of activities on weekends and in school holidays. We strongly advise checking availability online before travelling to the centre.
Calshot Activities Centre is open year-round (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) with specific opening times dependent upon the activities that day.
Is there a café?
Yes, our fully-licensed café sells a variety of wholesome, delicious meals and light snacks. Draught and bottled beers, wines and a wide range of soft drinks are available.
What time do I need to arrive?
Please aim to arrive 15 mins before the start of your activity session. This will allow time to check-in and complete any paperwork.
What if I arrive late?
Action Adventure Parties/Exclusive use
We can’t extend the time slot of an allocated booking. Should you arrive late, we'll do our best to offer a shortened version of your chosen party. However, this may not always be possible.
Action Adventure Days
Aim to arrive 15 mins before the activity. Any late arrivals should check-in at reception and we’ll get your child onto the activity as soon as it’s safe to do so.
Action Adventure Experiences
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled activity. If you’re late, we’ll do our best to fit you into the session. However, this may not always be possible.
Can I book other activities on the day?
You’re welcome to book additional Action Adventure activities Experiences on the day, depending on space and availability.
What if I need to cancel a session?

Can I book more than one activity?
Yes, we would love for you to make a day of your visit. When booking activities, simply make sure the session times don’t overlap.
Do I need to take part in the activity with my child? Or can I just watch?
Your child will be with our instructors for the session*. You can sit back and relax or enjoy a delicious drink or snack in the café bar.
For our Ringos activity - parents/guardians must remain in the immediate area to supervise their children during the session. However, if you book exclusive use you’ll have your own instructor running your Ringos activity.
*Our Laser Climb Action Adventure Experiences do not have an instructor. Those under 14 wishing to take part will require adult supervision.
