Pilot on-street electric vehicle chargepoint scheme

Access to suitable electric vehicle (EV) charging poses a challenge if you don't not have access to a private driveway. We have launched two pilot schemes to help plan for the expected increase in the use of electric vehicles. The schemes will focus on two types of chargepoints:

• streetlighting columns in Winchester and
• bollards in Eastleigh
