Pelican crossings

Pelican crossings have a green man and red man signal and a wait box. When you want to cross, push the button and wait for the green man signal to appear on the other side of the road, before you cross. 

When the traffic has stopped and the green man signal is showing, you can start to walk across the road.

Remember to look and listen for traffic when you cross
