You might find a special signal for pedestrians at some sets of traffic lights. This is the green and red man signal

There is no button to push at traffic lights. Traffic is stopped automatically

Be extra careful when you cross at traffic lights. Use the Green Cross Code and remember to check all around for traffic, including over your shoulder, just in case traffic is turning the corner
