Scheme overview

Hampshire County Council’s ambitious new walking and cycling principles, developed by working with a range of partners, were presented at Hampshire’s first Active Places Summit on 19 October 2020.

To inform the Active Places Summit, an Active Places Survey was undertaken in the summer of 2020. The results of the survey can be seen in this short video.

Evidence and feedback from the summit and the survey will be used to inform the County Council’s Local Transport Plan which will guide future investment and decision making within the County Council in relation to transport.
