BRT Busway Access and Route Signing Improvements

Scheme overview

The scheme will be carried out in two phases for the improvements to the existing BRT busway route and will provide accessibility benefits. The minor works instruction was approved on 25 May 2022 to carry out these improvements.

  • Phase 1 - new route signing for pedestrians and cyclists completed in October 2022.  Please see the visuals.
  • Phase 2 - uncontrolled crossing points near some of the BRT bus stops to be implemented early 2024.
