Scheme overview

Hampshire County Council had appointed Rocon Contractors Ltd to carry out works to narrow the Bellmouth junction on Deerleap Lane and Redhill Road, Rowlands Castle.  Works completed in September 2022.  Please view the before and after visuals.

Improvements works included narrowing of the bellmouth entrance on the junction of Redhill Road and The Glade, Rowlands Castle.  The tactile pavement has been relocated further up the access road as the pavement is now widened to allow for improved safety and visibility for pedestrian crossing at this junction.  Please view the location plan.
