Alternative access to services during the weekend
- Anyone with urgent safeguarding concerns will still be able to contact us for emergency help, on 0300 555 1373. (You won’t be able to access other council services by using this number.)
All Hampshire County Council visitor facilities such as our country parks and Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, will be open. Tickets can be purchased on site, or for some facilities, by using the following link - https://shop.hants.gov.uk. - You can still book a visit to a Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), by visiting https://hwrc.hants.gov.uk or by using the OurHants App. The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
At our libraries, normal opening hours will apply, and there will be no overdue charges from 22–27 May.

Payment of invoices can still be made using the automated telephone line 0333 555 2221.
The Hampshire Record Office in Winchester will be closed to the public that weekend as usual. To access the Archives catalogue visit https://hampshire.epexio.com - At our outdoor centres, normal opening hours apply. Booking links for activities and accommodation are available via centres’ social media channels. Calshot, Tile barn, Runway’s End, Argoed Lwyd, Stubbington.
If you need to use our website to complete other tasks, try to do this before 5pm on 22 May, or wait until Tuesday 26 May. Thank you for your patience during this important maintenance work, which is necessary for the continued safe and secure operation of our IT systems.
Be alert to scams
When our website is unavailable, be alert to the possibility of fraudsters using this situation to carry out scams. During this time, the County Council will not be contacting people to ask for any sensitive data, and you do not need to do anything as a result of the maintenance work. Our services will continue as normal after the maintenance is complete.
