The County Council ‘s Strategic Procurement Team is the joint service supporting both the Council, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and also provides procurement services to a number of other public bodies including Unitary, District, Borough, Parish/Town Councils and National Park Authorities.
We work with and welcome bids from all types of organisations including large, small and medium sized enterprises and voluntary/community organisations.
Local Government Reorganisation
In March 2026, the Government announced its intended future structure for local government across Hampshire and the wider Solent area and selected a preferred proposal. This decision has since been withdrawn, and all implementation activity is currently paused while the Government reviews its plans.
There are no immediate changes. Hampshire County Council remains fully responsible and accountable for delivering its services, and residents, businesses and partners should continue to work with the County Council as usual.
