Principal Consultees: Service Users and Carers, statutory, voluntary and private sector providers of mental health services, District and Borough Councils, Elected Members, other partners i.e. Police, organisations working with young people and older people to ensure smooth transition. To date, over 40 organisations have been involved in developing the strategy and will continue their involvement in the formal consultation and future implementation.

Method of Consultation: Meetings, consultation events, feedback via e-mail/questionnaires and work through the LITs (Local Implementation Teams)

Summary

This reports seeks approval from the Executive Member for Adult Social Care to undertake formal consultation on the draft Mental Health Commissioning Strategy, jointly produced by Adult Services and NHS Hampshire mental health commissioners in conjunction with other Strategy Board members from a variety of partner organisations.
