<P>Seeking the Committee's views on 20mph speed limits for the Executive Member for Economy, Transport and Environment when considering whether the TMPG should be adopted. The report gives details of the proposed speed limit policy of the TMPG and background information relating to the current pilot programme of 20 mph limits in residential areas. This includes an explanation as to why a pilot programme is being conducted and how it is being assessed.</P>
